Relaxation and manifestation go hand in hand. Without a relaxed visualization technique, manifestation of your desired outcome will be difficult.

Relaxation is a key component of manifestation. When the mind is distracted and filled with intrusive thoughts, your perceptions are clouded by the emotions that stir up – anxiety, worry, or fear.

If you’re relaxed and the mind is calm, you can open up a world of perception beyond your conscious mind.

When your mind is agitated, it’s difficult, if not impossible, to bring your manifestations to life.

To make the law of attraction work for you and support you in the manifestation process, you need to have a still mind. 

Read on for a relaxation exercise that will relax the mind and create a channel for you to attract your visions.

Relaxation and manifestation are like “cheese and crackers”. The following short course will have you well on the way to manifesting your desired outcome. Time commitment: 15 to 25 minutes.

To begin, find a comfortable, private location where you won’t be interrupted. Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Settle into your body. 

Take a long deep and slow breath, feeling your abdomen rise. Hold the breath for five seconds, and exhale slowly. Continue breathing in this manner and feel your body expand and contract with your breath. 

Close your eyes and begin to breathe naturally as you move into deep relaxation. 

Bring awareness to your feet. How do they feel? Notice the temperature or sensations. Allow your feet to relax with each breath. Feel your heels sinking into the floor. 

Gently bring awareness to your ankles. Remember to breathe naturally. 

Relax The Legs

Continue moving your attention up the legs. Bring awareness to your calves and the backs of your knees. Notice any sensations here, and breathe into this area of the body as you relax the muscles. 

Move your awareness to the knees, spending a few breaths here.

Continue to move awareness up the body, to your hamstrings and thighs, then glutes and pelvic region, breathing naturally and relaxing the muscles. Imagine you’re releasing tension with each exhale.

Bring focus to your belly and abdomen. It’s common for this area to hold emotion, so you may spend additional time here. Feel the rise and fall of the breath in this area of your body. 

Move your attention to your lower back, then move up to your chest. Keep breathing and feeling a deeper relaxation with each breath. Feel the rise and fall of the breath. 

Shift your attention to your upper back, spine, and shoulders. Breathe into this area and allow it to relax.

Next, begin to focus on your hands and arms. Start with your fingertips and move up the arm to your palms, wrists, elbows, upper arms, and armpits. Breathe into these areas and feel the muscles relax. 

Move your awareness to the throat. Allow your throat to relax with every exhale. 

Become aware of your face and all of the muscles here. Relax your forehead, unclench your jaw, let the cheeks and tongue relax. Be aware of your nose, feeling your breath move through the nostrils as you inhale and exhale. Notice your ears. Take a moment to appreciate your senses. 

Bring your awareness to your eyes resting in your eye sockets. Relax your eyelids even more as you move deeper and deeper into relaxation. 

Now move attention to the top of your head. Feel the skull and scalp. You’ve reached a deeply relaxed state throughout your body. Imagine your brain in full deep relaxation, becoming a magnet for your desires. 

Spend as long as you like in this state. Continue breathing naturally. When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes, and begin to move your fingers and toes as you bring your awareness back to the room. 

Completing the Relaxation And Manifestation Exercise

When you’ve completed this relaxation exercise, you’ll be in a state to amplify manifestation. 

Now is a great time to journal and bring awareness to the feelings of this relaxed state. Feel your manifestations moving their way to you.
